Pianist and Composer

Lorenzo Carulli is an Italian Pianist and Composer who has sorted his passion and artistic commitment between classical and original music.

Born in Lecce, he firstly studied at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, graduating with the highest honours and distinction in his Masters. In the following years, he moved to Milan where he earned the Master in “Opera coach and Assistant Conductor” from La Scala Academy. During this period, he also had the opportunity to work with some of the most important International conductors and performers, both at La Scala and abroad.

Beside his professional activity as classical Pianist, he never ceased to also work as Composer; over the years, his original compositions granted him a number of achievements which include scholarships (e.g., Starbucks Foundation fosters young talents) and awards from national and international music contests (Fondazione Estro Musicale special production prize, FM Contest 3° prize for best original theatre music, Call for Concert Musicopaideia special prize for original scores).
